Escape

Sometimes we just need to escape: escape from a bad day or series of bad days, escape from negative thoughts that shackle us to sad lives, escape from a bout with ill health that leaves us worried about our future or just escape from the everyday troubles we all face.

There is nothing wrong with this. It is good to escape: to float upon the breeze and let life carry us for a while. It is okay to take some time to goof off and not feel productive. And it is okay merely to survive at a time where hanging on is difficult.

It is okay, and YOU are okay.

Like the lone seagull soaring in the sky at sunset, today I look to escape into a better tomorrow.
