After the Sun

Sometimes we are misled into thinking that the important events in life happen right in front of our noses, when it is quite the opposite.

Just as the true beauty of a sunset is not seeing the sun fade from the sky — it can often be the events that happen AFTER it is gone.

As your life unfolds, be aware of the beauty that surrounds you on all sides. Look to the fringe — the edges of life — instead of being fixated on the obvious and plain. And know the joy that awaits the one who is willing to wait for the beauty to happen.

Live with eyes wide open!

Where do you find sunsets like this?

    • Joe says:

Most of the sunrises were taken on the eastern seaboard of the U.S. in places from as far north as Maine, to the Jersey shore, North Carolina and Florida– all places we have traveled. (You have to get up early for these.)

Some sunsets are from those places as well (but you have to find a spot where you can face west and have the water on the opposite side.) A lot are from Florida.

I also have some photos from the west coast as well. More will be posted. Thanks for asking! 🙂
